WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION:
Come join us at Hot Shops Art Center for our NEW monthly Adult Figure Drawing Workshop! Whether you're a beginner or advanced, participants will learn fundamental drawing and artistic anatomy skills from a live model with instruction from artist Keegan Baker. We will provide a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere for you to learn in! We will be emphasizing how to draw facial features in this particular session.
Suggested supplies to bring:
sketchbook or newsprint paper pad
charcoal or charcoal pencils
standing or table easel
backing board
You are welcome to bring in any food or beverages you'd like.

I am a painter and an avid doodler born and raised here in Omaha. I like to consider myself a professional goofball. Art is everything to me. It is a part of my mindset, my way of understanding the world. One of the things I do to pass the time is go on bike rides with a small journal and a pencil. I constantly stop to sketch whatever I see. I believe all you need to make good art is a material to work with and a drive to learn how to work it!
